First things first, this is my first post and I want to thank you for taking the time to check out my blog!
I just wanted to make a post to let you know a little bit about me and what my reasoning for even making this blog is.
So, I’m a recent graduate of St. Charles Community College-Missouri with an Associates of the Arts and Sciences degree. I’m a Colorado resident and I’ll start attending Colorado State University spring of 2020 to begin working towards a degree in Conservation Biology. At SCC, I was the president of an environmental group called The Sustainability Club (formerly known as The Green Club) and I volunteered at the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka, Missouri.
My biggest passions and interests right now are rock climbing, hiking, photography, traveling, and camping, and all of these things just further reinforce my love for nature. My interest in these things has come from a deep love and respect for nature and a growing desire to preserve its beauty.
I feel that so many people out there are either ignorant to the impacts that humans have on the environment and cultures worldwide or just aren’t aware of how easy it is to make some small changes to reduce your impact. I too am guilty of going through my daily life for years without recycling, reducing my waste, reducing my carbon footprint, or even trying to become more informed about these devastating effects that we have on the environment. So please, if you could share this blog or any of the individual posts that I make, I would HUGELY appreciate it.
I don’t profit from this blog in any way at all; I just want to share this information to inspire you to reconnect with nature as well as educate the world so that we as a global community, don’t do any more harm to our environment than we already have. So, let’s show the world that fighting to preserve the environment and protect nature is a worthy and noble cause!
The least movement is of importance to all of nature. The entire ocean is affected by a pebble. –Blaise Pascal
